my love for erasure has just exceeded the most infinite proportion ever concieved - i.e. larger than space. THIS MUCH (extended arms).

No other band can make me happy like erasure does.

So I slept in my parents bed for years to avoid this........ [25 Oct 2005|03:41pm]
Yeah and now there's none of that. I live in an old house and I sleep alone or without anyone in the house very often. Lastnight I went to bed around 3:30am. My house is situated like this: I hae a long hallway, with a living room at one end and my roommate, Jessica's, room at the other. Ed and My room flank the end of the hallway with the tiny living room. Ed was staying at Erin's house that night, or so I thought, when I fell asleep lastnight, so there was no one in my wing of the house. At about 5:45 in the morning, I woke up from a rather awesome dream about Michael Ian Black and the halfass. So, I was falling back asleep after waking up from that, and there was a sound like someone waking up and coming out of Ed's room. They went into the kitchen for a second and fudged around, but when they started walking back it sounded like Erin (or I just assumed it was, because it was a girl's voice calling my name....and seeing as though I heard the person coming from Ed's room, the idea of Erin just sleepwalking would be plausible.) EXCEPT this thing that I thought was Erin was dragging it's feet slowly on my carpet, and calling Claire?? claireeee. claiiiiiiiireeee? and sounding really confused and worried. I lock my door every night because of that old man I found in my house that one time, so I just told her "ERIN YOU'RE SLEEPWALKING, GO TO BED." Well, it didn't stop. "Erin" started to call my name more, and proceeded to slam up against my door, like she was trying to walk through it, but couldn't because it was obviously locked. Up until this point I really thought it was just her sleepwalking. UNTIL I HEARD MY DOOR CREEK, I would've thought this was a dream had my door not creeked open so made the same sound it always makes at one point when you're opening it. So at this point I decided NOT to look in the direction of whatever what was coming at me, because it couldn't possibly have been erin. It shuffled closer and and closer, still calling my name. I was laying on my side and facing the other I thought I could just ignore it until it went away, but then it put it's "hand" on my back, and i guess knelt down, pushed my hair aside from my ear and neck, breathed on my neck, and I guess put it's "Face" really close to my neck and ear and whispered claire claire claire.........I wigged the fuck out, and grabbed my cell phone which was right next to me without looking at all....I tried calling adam a thousand times still thinking whatever it was was still next to me. Finally, after not getting a hold of adam, i mustered up enough courage to look over my shoulder, and nothign was there..........

So................................that was scary. And adam refuses to stay with me tonight!!!!!!!!

I'll be sleeping at Chris and Kris' house tonight.

Made my first real painting today. I'm pretty proud of it.....Some old man standing next to me in the paint isle farted when he bent over to look at some brushes.

Pictures, soon.

Also. I'm working on scanning all the images from my sketchbooks and putting them on a website. I hope it'll be up by tonight.

and that was my day. [15 Oct 2005|01:15am]
adam and I had a wondeful day together......

we got really lost on our way to the cider mill, but that's okay......we ended up in a really huge park and walked along side the huron river.....poked a dead fish with a stick and skipped some rocks together.....watched the bugs skimming the river's surface, and admired the autumn colors.

ps when we poked the fish it farted. like fbbbbbbtttt in the water. little bubbles.

we ate at zingerman's and went grocery shopping, came home, and laid in bed until he had to go.

the end. you may all vomit now.

I've changed so much.

I don't even look the same, do I?

I guess no one would know. I haven't seen anyone I knew 3 years ago since I left.

I feel very alone.

My favorite couple in the world. Bjork and Matthew Barney. I love these two so much.

Make sure that, if you have the chance, you go see Drawing Restraint 9. Bjork did the soundtrack, and Matthew Barney did the film. Matthew Barney is known for his work the Cremaster Cycle, which you've probably heard me freak out about several times. I'm pretty sure Matthew Barney sings a little on the soundtrack, which I'm not too thrilled about, but I am positively thrilled about the fact that the soundtrack and the film are enriched with and deeply rooted in influences from traditional japanese culture. I'm not too thrilled about the kimonos made of real animal fur. I'll get over it. Kimonos have many layers.

here's the link from bjork's website:

In Chris' room, watching the LB DVD for the 7th time again. I miss living across the hall from him.
